Shipping Process
RouteKR uses a two-step shipping process: (1) Domestic shipping from the Korean seller to our center (1-5 business days), (2) International shipping from our center to your address. After receiving and inspecting your item, we calculate the shipping fee based on weight and destination. Once you pay the shipping fee, we dispatch within 1-2 business days.
Shipping Rates
International shipping is charged on the greater of actual or volumetric weight (L×W×H cm ÷ 6000), finalized by measurement at dispatch. Rates include packaging materials and handling.

Packaging & Handling
All items are checked for exterior condition, quantity and contents, then securely packaged before international shipping. We use appropriate protective materials (bubble wrap, reinforced boxes) to ensure safe delivery. Fragile items receive extra care at no additional cost.
Customs & Duties
International shipments may be subject to customs duties and taxes imposed by your country's customs authority. These fees are the customer's responsibility and are not included in our shipping rates. Duty-free thresholds vary by country: Japan 16,666 JPY · Canada CAD $20 · the UK exempts duty up to £135 but charges VAT on all goods · the EU abolished the low-value duty exemption in July 2026 · the United States ended de minimis in 2025, so duties apply from the first dollar. We accurately declare the item value on customs forms.
Prohibited and restricted items
The following cannot be shipped internationally:
- Dangerous goods (flammable, explosive, corrosive)
- Lithium batteries (standalone, not installed in a device)
- Items restricted by the destination country (varies by country)
- Counterfeits, weapons, illegal substances
Items that may cost more to ship
These can be shipped, but our main carrier does not accept them, so we must use another carrier. Shipping can therefore be significantly higher than usual. We weigh the parcel after inspection and tell you the exact amount — you decide whether to proceed at that point.
